Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** ------------------------ * Safely operate haul trucks to transport aggregate and other materials throughout the site. * Conduct pre-operational inspections and promptly report equipment concerns. * Follow established safety procedures, site traffic patterns, and operating guidelines. * Coordinate with plant and quarry personnel to ensure efficient material movement. * Maintain a clean, organized work area and support daily production goals. **What Are We Looking For** --------------------------- * Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy mobile equipment in a production environment. * Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence. * Capability to perform equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance needs. * Effective communication skills and ability to follow directions and established procedures. * Reliable work ethic with the flexibility to adapt to changing production demands. **Conditions of Employment** ---------------------------- * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. * Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. **Work Environment** -------------------- * Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. **What We Offer** ----------------- * $28.64 to $30.64 per hour. * Benefits through the Company for Medical, Dental, and Vision; Pension through the Union. * Company paid vacation, personal days and holidays.
