Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** ------------------------ * Operate front-end loaders and heavy equipment to safely move and stockpile materials. * Load customer and internal trucks efficiently while maintaining product quality standards. * Conduct pre-operational inspections and report equipment maintenance needs. * Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas in accordance with company and site procedures. * Support plant operations by assisting with production, inventory management, and other assigned tasks. **What Are We Looking For** --------------------------- * Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a production, construction, mining, or industrial environment. * Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and following established procedures. * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Mechanical aptitude with the capability to identify and communicate equipment concerns. * Dependable work ethic with the ability to perform physical tasks and work independently when needed. **Conditions of Employment** ---------------------------- * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. * Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. **Work Environment** -------------------- * Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. **What We Offer** ----------------- * $30.80 per hour. * Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension. * Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays.
