Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** ------------------------ * Operate color blending and material handling equipment to produce cement products that meet quality specifications. * Monitor mix formulations, production processes, and inventory levels to ensure efficient terminal operations. * Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance to support safe and reliable production. * Load, unload, and transfer raw materials and finished products while maintaining accuracy and quality standards. * Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures to support a productive workplace. **What Are We Looking For** --------------------------- * Ability to safely operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production and material handling equipment. * Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain product quality and blending accuracy. * Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn terminal processes, equipment, and operating procedures. * Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced industrial environment. * Dependable work ethic with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. **Conditions of Employment** ---------------------------- * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. * Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. * Must be able to certify forklift operation-training provided, * Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 94lb bags. **Work Environment** -------------------- * Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. **What We Offer** ----------------- * $34.12 per hour. * Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension. * Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays.
