2026 Intern - Accounting

As an Intern, you will: * Perform monthly or quarterly closing activities including posting of journal entries and Balance sheet reconciliation; * Assist with statutory and tax accounting activities which includes local compliance reporting & external submissions, withholding tax filing, preparation of tax package etc * Assist with Payroll accounting close and reconciliation activities * Assist with coordination of SOX and compliance matters * Support and implement initiatives for automation, process improvement, and transformation on accounting & statutory Job Qualification * The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business, or any professional certifications (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, CPA, etc) * Min 3.4 CGPA * Proactive working attitude, driven, good critical thinking skills, good communication skills * Adaptable to a MNC day-to-day activities/environment [More information about NXP in Malaysia...](https://www.nxp.com/company/about-nxp/worldwide-locations/malaysia:MALAYSIA) #LI-633a
