We’re looking for an experienced **Account Manager** with a strong background in U.S. freight brokerage. The ideal candidate should have experience managing a book of customer accounts, handling day-to-day operations, maintaining and growing customer relationships, and taking ownership of account performance, revenue, and profitability. Strong communication, relationship management, and business development skills are important, along with a solid understanding of U.S. freight brokerage operations. #### **Key Responsibilities** * Manage a portfolio of customer accounts as the main point of contact and build strong, long-term relationships. * Identify opportunities to increase volume, add new lanes, and expand services within existing accounts. * Lead regular account reviews, discuss performance and pricing, and proactively address customer needs. * Handle escalations from start to finish and proactively prevent operational issues. * Oversee carrier booking, load coverage, tracking, and exception management. * Build and maintain a reliable carrier network, negotiate rates, and protect account margins. * Ensure accurate load information, statuses, and documentation in the TMS. * Review carrier invoices, collect PODs, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate handoff to billing. ### Requirements * 5+ years of experience in U.S. logistics, freight brokerage, or freight forwarding * Direct experience in Account Management / customer-facing roles * Proven experience managing carrier relationships and negotiating rates * Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal * Strong TMS proficiency and attention to detail * Ability to take ownership of results and account performance * ### Comfortable working Pacific Time hours * Reliable internet connection and a quiet remote workspace **Working****conditions**: * Working schedule: **Monday - Friday, 6am-3pm PST** * ### Work mode - remote * ### Competitive Salary in USD * ### 10+ business days of paid time off * ### Equipment provided * ### A supportive team * ### Remote eligibility Join our team and become an integral part of our mission to provide reliable and efficient freight transportation solutions to our customers. ### Highlights ### US Logistics ### Brokerage Originally posted on [Himalayas](https://himalayas.app)
