Accountant

### Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage and support day-to-day accounting operations with a strong understanding of US taxation. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations, and providing valuable financial insights. ### Key Responsibilities: * Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations. * Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. * Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. * Ensure timely and accurate preparation of US federal and state tax returns. * Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants as needed. * Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounting records and reports. * Support process improvements and financial reporting automation. ### Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to US taxation. * Familiarity with IRS forms and tax compliance requirements. * Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Excel. * Strong analytical and communication skills. * CPA or US tax certification is a plus.
