Accountant

**Job Title:** Remote Accountant (UK-Based Clients) **Location:** Remote (Pakistan) **Working Hours:** UK Business Hours ### Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team remotely, supporting UK-based clients. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, taxation, and compliance requirements, along with hands-on experience using leading accounting software. ### Key Responsibilities * Prepare and submit statutory accounts from source records * Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UK regulations * Manage payroll processing, including calculations and submissions * Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting * Handle bookkeeping and reconciliations (bank, supplier, customer) * Assist with tax computations and compliance requirements * Communicate with clients to gather financial information and resolve queries * Ensure adherence to UK accounting standards and deadlines ### Requirements * ACCA Affiliate (mandatory) * Proven experience working with UK-based clients or UK accounting systems * Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles and taxation * Ability to prepare accounts independently from source records * Experience in VAT returns and payroll processing ### Technical Skills * Proficiency in: * Xero * QuickBooks * IRIS Software * VT Accounting ### Soft Skills * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) * Ability to work independently in a remote environment * Good time management and ability to meet deadlines ### What We Offer * Competitive salary (based on experience) * Remote working flexibility * Opportunity to work with UK-based clients and gain international exposure * Professional growth and development opportunities **Note:** This is a fully remote position requiring availability during UK working hours.
