This would include review, analyse and provide recommendation on each revenue stream, project profitability and optimisation of costs. * Handle month end and year-end closing including intercompany reconciliations. * Provide comprehensive actual financial performance vs. budget variance and trend analysis of financials with insightful commentaries on a monthly basis. * Compute key financial indicators and measures to optimise the financial decision-making by Business Units. * Preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecast for the Business Units. * Provide advisory to Business Units on tax implications and potential tax exposure for existing projects and new business opportunities. * Manage the financial and statutory accounting for entities assigned. * Ensure timely and accurate reporting on a monthly basis. * Handle statutory audit, which includes preparation of financial statements as well as liaise with external auditors. * Handle tax matters which would include the quarterly GST filing as well as corporate tax. * Identify weak internal controls and propose mitigating measures to strengthen these areas. * Liaise with internal & external auditors. * Ad-hoc duties assigned and this may include review of policies and continual process re-engineering. **Requirements** * Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent * At least 5 years of relevant working experience * Minimum 4 years of experience gained in Big 4 Audit Firms preferred * Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana is an advantage * Proficient in MS Office applications * Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment * Meticulous and able to work independently * Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with stakeholders across different divisions * Strong business acumen, detail-oriented and hands-on At Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
