At Chevron, we believe humanity can solve any challenge – including meeting the world’s energy needs of today, while advancing a cleaner energy tomorrow. **About the Role** We have an exciting opportunity for an **Asset Accounting Analyst.** This role will be based in **6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.** **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following**:  _**WIP Accounting**_ * _Create and maintain AFEs, including budget monitoring, charge tracking, inactivity management, and completion_ * _Accrue Value of Work Done_ * _Close out AFE balances to expense_ * _Capitalize AFEs_  _**Fixed Assets**_ * _Manage asset creation and related maintenance processes_ * _Analyze and calculate DD&A Panel Unit of Production rates and perform monthly depreciation runs_ * _Conduct asset verification exercises_ * _Review Asset Retirement Obligations_ * _Execute Fixed Assets SOX Controls_ _**Accounts Reconciliation**_ * _Reconcile asset-related accounts._ * _Perform Trace & Escalation procedures for reconciling items._ _**General Administrative Tasks**_ * _Maintain updated process documentation._ * _Fulfill roles and responsibilities for assigned coordination roles._ * _Attend and actively participate in meetings._ * _Engage in professional development activities (e.g., training, reading professional materials, attending seminars, self-study courses, interacting with industry counterparts)._ * _Participate in special projects._ * _Provide assistance and engage in discussions with colleagues or direct reports._ **About You** We know our greatest resource is the ingenuity, creativity and innovation of our people.
