Accounts Receivable Associate

Monitor and record incoming payments in the accounting system.  Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.  Process refunds, adjustments, and write-offs as required.  Follow up with customers on overdue invoices via email, phone, or other communication channels.  Maintain positive relationships with customers while ensuring timely collections.  Escalate unresolved payment issues to the AR Manager or relevant stakeholders.  Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to AR  Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and financial regulations.  Maintain accurate and organized records of all AR transactions.  Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation Qualifications & Skills Education & Experience  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.  1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.  Experience with accounting software SAPis preferred. Skills & Competencies  Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.  High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications  Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.  Familiarity with international payment processes and currency conversions.  Experience in a multinational or corporate environment is a plus.
