**Your next career opportunity**
As Centre Administrative Officer, you will provide high‑quality executive support to the Centre Director and COO, managing diaries, correspondence, travel and confidential documentation. You will gain experience in finance processing, event and committee coordination, and stakeholder engagement across a multi‑institution Centre hosted by the School of Physics.
**What you will deliver:**
* Provide high-quality executive support to the Centre Director and COO, including diary and email management.
* Coordinate Centre committees and boards, preparing papers, recording minutes, maintaining SharePoint sites and tracking actions.
* Deliver administrative and financial processing support, including invoices, reimbursements, credit card reconciliation and merchandise management.
* Organise Centre events, workshops and meetings, managing logistics, communications, room bookings, catering and speaker coordination.
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted first point of contact.
**You may be a great fit if you:**
* Hold a degree or equivalent combination of education, training and relevant administrative experience.
* You are a confident minute‑taker with strong written communication and attention to detail.
* You possess experience with finance systems, purchasing cards and expense reconciliation.
* You have solid event coordination skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* You are proficient with Microsoft Office and SharePoint and comfortable managing group inboxes.
* Bring experience in tertiary or research environments, including familiarity with finance, travel or database systems.
* You demonstrate professionalism, discretion and strong interpersonal skills when liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
