**Position Overview:**
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an **Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner** to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in Queens, New York. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population in a collaborative and supportive outpatient setting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform comprehensive physical examinations and patient observations.
* Record and analyze patients' medical histories and symptoms.
* Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, and contribute to existing ones.
* Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
* Diagnose acute and chronic health issues and prescribe appropriate treatments and medications.
* Monitor and operate medical equipment as needed.
* Detect changes in patients' health and modify treatment plans accordingly.
* Consult with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals within the multi-specialty practice.
* Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
* Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in electronic medical records.
**Qualifications:**
* **Education:** Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
* **Licensure:** Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license. Must be Board Certified.
* **Language:** Must be bilingual in Bengali or have experience supporting Bengali-speaking or comparable communities.
* **Technical Skills:** Proficient in performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and utilizing electronic health records.
* **Legal Authorization:** Eligible to work in the United States.
* **Availability:** Available to work 1-2 Saturdays per month.
