The Advanced Practice Paramedic has an advanced knowledge base and diagnoses and provides care for a broad range of medical conditions providing advanced level of care including evaluation and assessment, testing, and treatments. Education ▪ Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience ▪ Required: 2 years’ experience a field medic ▪ Preferred: 5 years’ experience as field medic Skills ▪ Must be 18 years of age ▪ Strong verbal communication skills ▪ Technical writing skills ▪ Critical thinking skills Licensure/Certification/Registration ▪ Required: Licensed EMT-P or E.M.T. - CP with Community Paramedicine Endorsement and a valid Missouri driver’s license. ▪ Required: MO Community Paramedic Certification must be obtained within 4 months of hire ▪ Preferred: CCEMTP or equivalent.
