The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in testing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) applications and developing robust automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and modern testing tools. The role involves ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of AEM-based web applications through automated and manual testing. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for AEM-based applications. * Automate functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios. * Validate AEM components, templates, editable templates, workflows, content fragments, experience fragments, and Digital Asset Management (DAM). * Test AEM Author and Publish environments, including content replication and publishing workflows. * Develop and execute automated UI test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java. * Perform API automation and validation using REST Assured or Postman. * Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions. * Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and troubleshoot failures. * Identify, log, track, and verify defects using Jira or similar defect management tools. * Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases. * Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. * Review requirements and ensure comprehensive automation coverage. * Continuously improve automation frameworks, coding standards, and testing processes. **Required Technical Skills** **Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)** * Hands-on experience testing AEM Sites implementations. * **Experience validating:** * AEM Components * Editable Templates * Content Fragments * Experience Fragments * Digital Asset Management (DAM) * Workflows * Multi-Site Manager (MSM) * Dispatcher configuration and caching * **Author and Publish environments** * **Knowledge of AEM 6.5 and/or AEM as a Cloud Service.** **Automation Testing** * Selenium WebDriver * Java * TestNG or JUnit * Maven or Gradle * Page Object Model (POM) * Data-driven and Keyword-driven frameworks * BDD using Cucumber (preferred) **API Testing** * REST Assured * Postman * REST API testing * JSON/XML validation **CI/CD & DevOps** * Jenkins * Azure DevOps * Git/GitHub * GitHub Actions (preferred) * Basic understanding of Docker and CI/CD pipelines **Web Technologies** * HTML5 * CSS3 * JavaScript * JSON * XML **Testing Tools** * Jira * Confluence * Browser Developer Tools * SQL (basic to intermediate) * JMeter (preferred for performance testing) **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. * 5–8 years of experience in software testing and automation. * Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience testing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) applications. * Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and defect management processes. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. **Preferred Skills** * Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service. * Exposure to Adobe Experience Cloud products such as Adobe Analytics or Adobe Target. * Knowledge of accessibility testing (WCAG). * Experience with cross-browser and responsive web testing. * Familiarity with performance and security testing concepts. **Preferred Certifications** * ISTQB Certified Tester * Adobe Experience Manager Certification (Preferred) * Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certification (Preferred) **Key Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. * High attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Ability to work independently and within Agile teams. * Continuous learning mindset and focus on automation best practices. **Success Measures** * Increased automation coverage and reduced manual effort. * Stable, maintainable automation frameworks. * Improved regression execution efficiency. * High-quality AEM releases with minimal production defects. * Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and timely delivery of sprint commitments. **Working with Embitel** • Freedom to challenge norms, make mistakes, learn and grow • There is no ‘I’ in word ‘Team’ and no hierarchy at Embitel • Employees of Embitel are partners of our excellence and growth.
