**Your Role as an Allied Health Assistant** As an Allied Health Assistant at Hummingbird House, you will support the delivery of person-centred health and wellbeing programs by assisting Allied Health Clinicians with individual and group interventions, monitoring client progress, and contributing to positive outcomes as part of a multidisciplinary team. This rewarding role provides the opportunity to support children with life-limiting conditions and their families, helping deliver compassionate, holistic care in a specialist paediatric palliative care environment. Key responsibilities include: * Assisting Allied Health Clinicians in delivering individual and group therapy programs to support children and families receiving palliative care services. * Preparing therapy sessions, resources and equipment, and provide supervision and support to participants during activities. * Monitoring client progress and provide feedback to Allied Health Clinicians to support ongoing care planning. * Delivering education, guidance and support to clients, families, carers and support workers under the direction of Allied Health Clinicians. * Building positive, professional relationships with children, families and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a high standard of person-centred care. * Maintaining accurate records, manage clinical resources and equipment, and support a safe, clean and welcoming therapy environment. * Contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary team while complying with quality, safety, infection control and workplace health requirements. **What We Offer** * **Salary Packaging:** We offer generous salary packaging benefits that help maximise your take‑home pay.
