American Regional Training Instructor

To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as an Instructor in our American Regional Training Department. The primary responsibility of the position is to provide a quality classroom product to our students, who include managers, agents, and supervisors from the stations, as well as vendor employees. The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year of airline experience, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, and excellent communication skills. This position will report to the Manager, Training Resources.  **Essential Duties:** * Provide a quality classroom product to our students, who include managers, agents, and supervisors from the stations, as well as vendor employees * Teach core training to include QIK Sabre, Net Tracer, Ramp – Eagle Ground Operations Manual (EGOM), and Complaint Resolution Official (CRO), Jetbridge, Transfer Assist **Job Qualifications and Competencies:** * One (1) year of airline experience * Ability to work independently, set and meet own deadlines * Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite * Ability to work a flexible schedule * A MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION LETTER IS REQUIRED **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge of QIK, Sabre, and airport environment * Prior teaching experience in a corporate environment * Bachelor’s degree in related field  **Work Environment:** * Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment * All shifts including weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays, and/or irregular shifts * Limited travel required **Physical Requirements:** * Occasional lifting to 25 pounds * Long periods of standing or speaking The above statements provide a brief description of the general nature of work performed and are not intended to be a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required for this position.
