It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they are doing! _We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business._ Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Manager ---------------------------------------- ### **Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner (NP)** _Clinical + Leadership Opportunity | Urgent Care_ Overview -------- We’re seeking an experienced **Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner** ready to step into a **hybrid leadership role**—combining hands-on patient care with oversight of a team of Advanced Practice Providers. This is an opportunity to **lead, mentor, and influence care delivery** while staying clinically active in a fast-paced urgent care environment. What You’ll Do -------------- Clinical (≈75%) * Evaluate and treat patients across a wide range of acute conditions (e.g., respiratory illness, minor injuries, infections) * Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care * Order and interpret diagnostics (X-rays, EKGs, labs) * Identify higher-acuity cases and appropriately escalate to ER when needed * Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across all age groups Leadership & Operations (≈25%) * Lead and directly supervise a team of APPs within the service line * Coach and mentor providers to improve clinical quality and performance * Monitor key metrics (clinical, operational, patient satisfaction) and drive improvements * Partner with Medical Directors and site leaders on staffing, workflows, and provider utilization * Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of APPs * Promote a culture of **collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement** What We're Looking For ---------------------- * Current licensure as a PA or NP * Board certification in either Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine * Ability to treat adult and pediatric patients * Prior administrative and leadership experience Take the next step in your career with us at Mercy-GoHealth! ------------------------------------------------------------ Set up email alerts as new job postings become available that meet your interest!  If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
