Application Specialist Mineral Processing

Solenis is seeking an experienced **Applications Specialist** to support growth of our product portfolio across key mining segments, including Precious Metals (Gold, Silver), Base Metals(Copper, Nickel), and/or Phosphate Rock. This customer-facing technical role provides hands-on applications expertise and technical sales support, working closely with Sales, Business Development, R&D, and Equipment teams to solve complex customer challenges and support new product introductions. ### Key Responsibilities * Provide technical applications support to customers, sales teams, and partners throughout the sales process * Deliver on-site and multi-site technical support, including applications testing and troubleshooting * Support the development, validation, and commercialisation of new and existing solutions * Prepare customer technical reports, trial proposals, and support commercial proposals * Primary technical focus on solid–liquid separation, process water treatment, scale inhibition, defoamers, grinding aids, and filter aids ### Qualifications & Experience * Tertiary qualification in a technical or scientific discipline * 10+ years’ experience in mining processes, with strong expertise in solid–liquid separation and process water conditioning * Experience with mining and heavy industry chemical treatment applications * Familiarity with utilities water treatment * Strong communication skills and ability to work independently * Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
