Applications Engineer

**Role summary:** Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the office (Applications Engineer). In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications.  You will act as a product specialist (pump product portfolio) in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site. **Your role:**​ * Prepare quotations by evaluating customers’ requirements and pumps in accordance with customers’ specifications * Prepare technically sound and cost-effective quotations, in order to contribute to obtaining related sales and bookings growth * Prepare detailed, complete and correct purchase order transfer files for proper transfer into our respective manufacturing operations * Participate in bid clarification meetings with the customers (international travel required) * Develop a keen understanding of the Flowserve product lines and their respective operations to enhance application engineering, quotation generation and sales support efforts **Your profile:** * BS or BA Degree in relevant field * Ideally two years of relevant experience * Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as, inside Sales Representative, Engineer * Working proficiency in German and English * Good communication skills * Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking * SAP knowledge Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications **What we offer you:** * Friendly multicultural environment and team events * Life, accident and health insurance * Cafeteria Package * Career development and training opportunity * Opportunity for hybrid work If this sounds like you and you are interested in a growth mindset role with a global leader in the fluid control industry, then click APPLY with your English CV and one of our Talent Acquisition team with get in touch with you very soon.
