Architecture Manager

**Job Description** ------------------- **Objective** * Responsible for managing resources and schedules in order to ensure successful implementation of all appliance or subsystem related development activities **Key responsibilities** Design/Project Management * Organize and follow-up of all product/module projects including:                                        * New features and esthetical design * Drive application of innovation for that platform or category.                                                * Cost reduction projects                                 * Quality improvement projects                                   * Platform/category standardization projects         * Act as main point of contact and interface with national or global for internal and external customers. * Manage relationship with global R&D resources and global core competence centers in order achieve full synergy in global platforms and features. * Participate in concept development activities                              * Ensure new variants introduction                                      * Ensure aesthetical/design alignment among the products * Ensure compliance with both internal and external safety standards                                    * Ensure product or module approval * Reduce complexity                  * Ensure compliance with either internal or external safety standards.                                   * Give final approval for introduction in production of new products or module engineering changes                      Process/Team management (Optional) * Budget responsibility * Work closely with the regional management team in order to consolidate R&D objectives and programs within the context of the overall regional / global product Generation Plans. * Give approval for introduction in production of new, platform relevant, products and engineering changes. * Ensure all R&D activities comply with legal demands and ethical standards.   * Responsible for team growth.             **Key functional qualifications** * Project management * Processes – PCP, IPDP, EC * Good knowledge of local market requirements and consumer insight * Good competitors knowledge * Basic knowledge of approval rules in different countries * Ability to handle complex tasks (Priorities, uncertainties, interfacing a lot of other teams) * Ability to work in a matrix organization * Technical or people leadership experience required. * Basic understanding of engineering, manufacturing and assembly principals. **Generic qualifications** * Good verbal and written communications * Exceptional Problem Solving Skills * Strong aptitude for details * Mature thinking and professional presentation with common sense and judgment in a broad business perspective; * Collaborative leader and team player * Ability to influence people who are not direct reports * Strong Continuous Improvement mindset * English and local language as mandatory. **Seniority levels** Design Team Leader Senior Design Team Leader Design Team Manager Senior Team Manager
