About the role ============== Job Summary The Lead Machinery Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment, while also supervising and guiding a team of mechanics. This role ensures operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery. * Diagnose mechanical issues and implement repairs. * Lead and train junior mechanics. * Maintain maintenance logs and documentation. * Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures. * Support continuous improvement in maintenance practices. **Skills & Qualifications** * Typically requires advanced vocational training (or equivalent experience) and several years of relevant work experience to carry out the role. * Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. * Experience with industrial machinery and tools. * Ability to read technical manuals and schematics. * Leadership and coordination abilities. * Knowledge of safety and maintenance standards.
