This is a part-time position responsible for assisting in the overall operation and coaching of the tennis programs in accordance with NCAA Division III, Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC), and Guilford College guidelines.** **Primary Responsibilities:** * **Assist the Head Coaches with organizing and conducting practice sessions.**   * **Support student-athlete skill development on and off the court.**   * **Assist in recruiting responsibilities.**   * **Uphold the academic and athletic mission of Guilford College.**   * **Adhere to all college, conference, and NCAA policies.**   **Qualifications:** * **Bachelor’s degree preferred.**   * **Collegiate-level playing and/or coaching experience strongly preferred.**   * **Knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations.**   * **Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.**   * **Valid driver’s license and ability to travel with the team.**   * **CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).**   **Desired Attributes:** * **A passion for developing young athletes both personally and athletically.**   * **Ability to foster a culture of inclusion, sportsmanship, and academic excellence.**   * **Commitment to the Division III philosophy and the overall student-athlete experience** **Guilford College** does not discriminate on the basis of sex/gender, race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, genetic information, military status, veteran status, or any other protected category under applicable local, state or federal law, ordinance or regulation.
