**Position Summary**
Basic Function
Assistant to Head Coach in all aspects of an Old Dominion Athletic Conference Division III sports program
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Specific Responsibilities:
* Assist the head coach in day to day operations of the team and program
* Assist in practice planning
* Assist in positional instruction as defined by the head coach
* Evaluate post practice and game situations
* Assist in recruiting
* Coordinate team travel with head coach supervision
* Other related duties as assigned
* A majority of coaching duties will be teaching their respective sport to students. This coaching is expected to be in person.
Minimum Qualifications
Coaching experience of at least 3 years required.
Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications:
Collegiate playing or previous collegiate or high school coaching experience of at least five years
required. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and the desire to work in a
Division III environment.
Master's degree preferred.
