Assistant Vice President Platform & Infrastructure

Our commitment to the long-term development of our business and our markets is articulated in our purpose: "To Connect, Promote and Progress our Markets and the Communities they support for the prosperity of all."_ **Job Summary:** We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Vice President to drive strategic initiatives aimed at upgrading and modernizing derivatives market infrastructure and systems. **Job Duties:** **Responsibilities:** * Analyze the business requirements and ensure alignment with strategic business goals * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs * Evaluate current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement to achieve enhanced operational efficiency and effectiveness * Validate technical solutions to ensure the business requirements are met and align with best practices * Analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making, providing insights into trends and potential impacts of system changes * Facilitate smooth transition to new processes, including training and support for end-users * Coordinate testing activities to ensure quality standards and address any issues that arise * Provide updates on project status, risks, and outcomes with key stakeholders in a transparent and effective manner **Requirements:** * University Degree, preferably in business administration, finance, or a related field. * At least 8 years of relevant experience in a well-established financial organization * Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Associate * Knowledge of DCASS or derivatives market in Hong Kong / overseas are preferred * Experience in derivatives clearing or clearing house related functions is a plus * Strong knowledge of the derivatives markets and products, including equities, fixed income, rates and currencies * Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both technical and non-technical stakeholders * Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams * Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage * Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge in various project management tools eg.
