Corewell is the exclusive clinical partner of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, with more than 1,400 Corewell Health doctors on faculty. **Scope of Work** Under direct supervision, the Associate Special Procedure Tech provides direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures to assist physicians and delivers quality patient/family centered care. The incumbent may be required to perform IV starts, prep patients, monitor hemodynamics, operate equipment, document procedures, vascular access site management, and provide patient/family education. **Qualifications** * Required Interventional Radiology requires completion of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT). ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Required associate’s degree or equivalent-Cath Lab/EP Lab requires employee to be a graduate of a Cardiovascular Technologist program, associate degree in cardiovascular technology/basic science, Paramedic license, Exercise Physiologist, or equivalent training and/or education. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Required Clinical experience required through graduation of one of the above listed programs. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Preferred Experience in EP, Cath Lab or IR. ------------------------------------------- * Employees being considered for Interventional Radiology it is recommended that they have previous experience as Radiology or Interventional Tech. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Required -Basic computer skills, math skills, exceptional communication skills, and outstanding customer service skills. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ * Required-Ability to be on site within 30 min for call in tot eh Cath lab IR.
