Associate Director Primary Intelligence

Internal Job Description **Role Overview**  We are seeking an Associate Director– Primary Intelligence to join IQVIA. This role combines client leadership, business development, and project delivery, with accountability for growing a portfolio of clients and generating revenue.  You will lead high-impact primary intelligence engagements while originating new opportunities, including syndicated and custom research solutions, working in a collaborative, team-based environment.  **Key Responsibilities**  Client & Commercial Leadership  * Own and grow a portfolio of client relationships, driving revenue and retention  * Lead business development activities (pipeline generation, proposals, closing deals)  * Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders  * Collaborate in a team-selling environment to develop integrated solutions  Syndicated & Solution Development  * Contribute to and lead syndicated research initiatives, from concept to commercialization  * Support go-to-market strategies for primary intelligence offerings  Project Delivery  * Lead multiple primary intelligence projects (interviews, surveys, market research)  * Ensure high-quality, on-time delivery and actionable insights  * Manage cross-functional teams and oversee client deliverables  Team Collaboration  * Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability building  * Work within a high-performing, collaborative team culture  **Qualifications**  * 5–8 years of experience in consulting (pharma/healthcare preferred). Minimum 2–3 years of project management experience in multi-country or complex consulting engagements  * Proven track record in sales / revenue generation relevant to Primary Intelligence  * Experience managing client relationships and delivering consulting projects * Exposure to primary intelligence research (qualitative and quantitative)  * Experience with syndicated research or multi-client solutions is a plus  * Strong commercial mindset and communication skills  * Fluency in English  IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
