Associate - Infosec - Senior Systems Engineer - Lme

**Location:** CN-Shenzhen-HyQ **Shift:** Standard - 40 Hours (China) **Scheduled Weekly Hours:** 40 **Worker Type:** Permanent **Job Summary:** Role Purpose The Security Development Engineer (Associate)– plays a hands on role in developing security solutions securing infrastructure and platforms supporting London Metal Exchange (LME). The role focuses on Application, Data and Operating system security in a highly regulated, on premise financial market infrastructure environment. **Job Duties:** **Key Responsibilities** * Design, implement and abstract **infrastructure security controls** through new or upgraded API’s across platforms * Secure **Kubernetes platforms (i.e. OpenShift)**, covering cluster hardening, network segmentation, access control and runtime protection * Implement and manage **cryptographic controls**, including TLS, encryption at rest, certificate and key lifecycle management * Support **data protection initiatives** integrated with infrastructure and platform services * Hands‑on design, implementation and operation of enterprise‑wide **Data Loss Prevention (DLP)** controls * Perform **security hardening and baseline configuration** for servers, platforms and middleware * Support and participate in **penetration testing and red teaming activities**, focusing on infrastructure and Kubernetes attack paths * Work closely with Application Security and IAM specialists to deliver end‑to‑end security solutions * Build solutions that support investigation and reduce response times of security incidents * Collaborate directly with London‑based stakeholders in **English‑speaking environments** **Required Skills & Experience** * 3–8 years of hands‑on experience in development and **cyber security** * Strong foundation across **Application and Infrastructure security** (Business Applications, firewalls, Databases, Operating Systems, Hypervisor, Network) * Solid experience securing **Kubernetes platforms**, ideally including **OpenShift** * Practical understanding of **cryptography and secure communication** * Experience working with **on‑premise or private infrastructure** in regulated environments * Understanding of **offensive security concepts**, such as attack techniques and lateral movement * Experience in a **foreign financial institution** (exchange, clearing house, investment bank) is highly preferred * Strong problem‑solving capability, hands‑on mindset and genuine interest in security technology * Fluent spoken and written **English** is mandatory **Company Introduction:** ITD SZ 港交所科技（深圳）有限公司，是2016年12月28日于深圳市前海自贸区成立的外商独资企业。 作为港交所的技术子公司，港交所科技（深圳）有限公司主要是为集团及其附属公司提供计算机软件、计算机硬件、信息系统、云存储、云计算、物联网和计算机网络的开发、技术服务、技术咨询、技术转让；经济信息咨询、企业管理咨询、商务信息咨询、商业信息咨询、信息系统设计、集成、运行维护；数据库管理、大数据分析；以承接服务外包方式提供系统应用管理和维护、信息技术支持管理、数据处理等信息技术和业务流程外包服务。
