Associate - Operations - Client Services & Market Maker Monitoring

To build in-hand with our clients to innovate and grow together for both today and tomorrow. **Job Duties:** **Responsibilities:** * Perform market maker performance monitoring operations in the derivatives market including analysis and setup of Market Maker and Liquidity Provider incentive programs * Collaborate with Sales and Product Development, Trading Operations and IT on market maker monitoring program-related initiatives * Liaise with market makers regarding their market maker performance and handle client inquiries in a timely and professional manner * Undertake special projects and ad hoc assignments as required **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar subject * Minimum 3 years of working experience in the financial industry, with a preference for roles related to derivatives operations * Knowledge in securities with exposure to Hong Kong and Mainland cash and derivatives markets * Good team-player with can-do attitude, get along well with all stakeholders and willing to learn * Strong organizational skills, task prioritization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills * Sensitive to numbers with good analytical skill * Have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese * Proficiency in Excel and VBA is required; programming knowledge and/or Power BI experience would be an advantage _HKEX is committed as an Equal Opportunity Employer.
