Job Summary ----------- _To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Associate** **Production Supervisor** located in **Guadalajara North.**_ _Reporting to the Production Manager the **Associate Production Supervisor** role involves the manage a production line, making the correct use of human resources, materials, machinery and time for the correct execution of production plans. Compliance with shipments and continuous improvement ideas in the area._   **What a typical day looks like:** * _Leads the production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment and responsible for the lines success._ * _Evaluates daily/regularly plant operating performance and advises on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies and quality._ * _Lead a team of individual professionals (e.g. engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness requirements._ * _Troubleshoot and analyze operational problems and advise on their resolution. Guide regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational understanding and capability._ * _Solicits and evaluates ideas for plant improvements and collaborates with qualified engineers to develop project proposals._ * _Provides technical and operational advice to project teams._ * _May act as principal interface between the operation team and the maintenance function._ * _Engage in training and coaching of junior operators._ * _Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply in order to meet customer requirements._ * _Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects._ * _Assist in department budget planning and management of department expenses._ * _Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing individuals on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures._ * _Ensures compliance to manufacturing standards._   **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** * _Bachelor’s degree._ * _Experience as leader._ * _Personnel management._ * Knowledge of Excel (basic) * _Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment._ * _Knowledge of production control systems (Serials, flows, traceability)._ * _Knowledge in specifications and standards related to electronics_ * Knowledge of Lean tools (basic) * _Experience in BAAN system (or SAP)._ * _Knowledge in SMT, Backend, Box._ * Schedule availability **What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:** * _Competitive Salary._ * _Life & Medical insurance._ * _Christmas Bonus._ * _Food Coupons._ * _Saving Fund._ GM13 Job Category ------------ Operations Required Skills: Optional Skills: Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
