Job Summary ----------- _To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an **Associate Production Supervisor** located in Guadalajara, North Campus._ _Reporting to Operations Manager, **Associate Production Supervisor** this role involves_ _overseeing directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality and cost goals._ **What a typical day looks like:** * _Manages the production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment and in charge of the line’s success._ * _Evaluates daily/regularly plant operating performance and advises on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiency and quality._ * _Guide a team of professionals (e.g. engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery and acknowledge requirements._ * _Troubleshoot and explore operational problems and advise on their resolution. Guide regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational comprehension and capability._ * _Solicits and evaluates ideas for plant improvements and contribute with qualified engineers to develop project proposals._ * _Provides technical and operational advice to project teams._ * _May act as principal interface between the operations team and the maintenance function._ * _Engage in training and coaching of junior operators._ * _Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply to meet customer requirements._ * _Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects._ * _Assist in department budget planning and management of department expenses._ * _Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing team members on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures._ * _Ensures compliance with standards._ **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** * BA/BS or equivalent work experience. * Experience as Production Supervisor. * Strong experience as leader. * **Availability to work the 3rd shift** * Intermediate English is a plus. * Flexible working hours availability * Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment. * Knowledge of production control systems (Serials, flows, traceability). * Knowledge in specifications and standards related to electronics * Experience in the use of Floor shop systems. * Knowledge in assembly processes (End to End). * Experience in BAAN system (SAP). **What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:** * Competitive Salary. * Life & Medical insurance. * Christmas Bonus. * Food Coupons. * Saving Fund.
