Experience a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive workplace where your ideas are valued, and your growth is supported. **Your role at a glance** The Associate Specialist, Sourcing – DC Ops is responsible for supporting procurement and sourcing activities related to client fit-out projects within the Finance Transformation and Procurement business unit. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing, compliance with company standards, and timely delivery of materials and services required for the Operations Team. **What we are looking for** * ### KEY responsibilities * ### Assist in sourcing and procurement for client fit-out projects, including vendor identification, RFQs, and bid analysis. * ### Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements. * ### Collaborate with internal teams (project managers, finance, operations) to align sourcing strategies with project timelines and budgets. * ### Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or compliance. * ### Support cost optimization initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement in procurement processes. * ### Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and sustainability standards. * ### KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES * ### Strong understanding of procurement principles and sourcing strategies. * ### Familiarity with construction or fit-out materials and vendor landscape. * ### Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba or similar). * ### Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. * ### Good communication and negotiation skills. * ### **Required:** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. * ### **Preferred:** Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM). * ### REQUIRED EXPERIENCE * ### 2–4 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in construction or client fit-out projects. * ### Exposure to vendor management and contract administration. * ### PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * ### Regularly moves equipment and other hardware up to 25 lbs. * ### Frequently move about inside and outside of data center / facility * ### Remain stationary for long periods of time. * ### Ascend / Descend a ladder and perform duties atop a raised platform. * ### Position self in small spaces. * ### Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment. * ### Perform work during US business hours and time zones. * ### Work conditions & other requirements * ### Work onsite at a data center location. * ### Exposure to varying temperatures and loud noises. * ### Exposure to outdoor weather conditions. * ### Travel required 10% of time. * ### Perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection. * ### ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS **Who we are** As the third largest data center provider, we operate over 150 data centers in more than 20 countries and regions.
