**SUMMARY**:
The Assistant Coach, Cross Country and Track and Field is responsible for assisting with all phases of the Division I Cross Country and Track and Field programs at the University of Richmond. Specific
responsibilities include but are not limited to: coaching and student-athlete skill development,
recruiting, administrative tasks related to the operation of the program, and providing a positive
collegiate experience for student-athletes.
**WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL EFFORT:**
Regular travel is required (recruiting and team travel)
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
* Ability to lead/manage others
* Effective interpersonal skills
* Strong verbal communication and listening skills
* Strong understanding of all aspects of social media is preferred
* Demonstrated knowledge of all applicable NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations is required
* Demonstrated expertise in coaching Cross Country/Track and Field is required
* Must have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years and a clean driving record, required
**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:
* Bachelor's Degree required
* Master's Degree preferred
* 2-4 years previous experience
* Previous coaching on the collegiate level preferred
**WORK HOURS**: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm; 38.75 hours per week. Travel required
**SALARY STRUCTURE**:
Pay Grade AC (Hiring Range $23,660.00 to $61,830.00 annually)
