A member of our recruitment team will provide more details. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Platform Administrator to support the firm's Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence environments while contributing to broader DevSecOps delivery initiatives. This role is responsible for the administration, governance, support, and continuous improvement of Atlassian collaboration and work management platforms, with a strong emphasis on Atlassian Cloud. The successful candidate will play a key role in the organization's ongoing transition from Atlassian Data Center to Atlassian Cloud, helping drive platform modernization while maintaining operational excellence. Approximately 75% of the role will focus on Atlassian platform administration and support. The remaining 25% will support coordination and delivery of cross-functional initiatives within the DevSecOps organization, including project planning, stakeholder communication, status reporting, and risk management. The ideal candidate is a hands-on administrator with strong technical expertise, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to effectively collaborate across technology, security, architecture, and business teams. **Job Responsibilities** **Atlassian Platform Administration (75%)** * Administer, configure, and support Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence environments. * Manage projects, spaces, workflows, permissions, schemes, automation, and platform configurations in accordance with enterprise standards. * Support the organization's migration from Atlassian Data Center to Atlassian Cloud. * Maintain governance standards, operational procedures, and platform best practices. * Evaluate user requirements and recommend solutions that align with platform capabilities and organizational standards. * Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, metrics, and planning views using Jira, Confluence, Atlassian Analytics, and related reporting capabilities. * Build and maintain Atlassian Analytics dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into platform usage, operational health, delivery performance, and adoption trends. * Administer and support Atlassian Marketplace applications and platform integrations. * Collaborate with Identity and Access Management, Enterprise Security, Architecture, Risk, and other partners to ensure compliance with organizational policies. * Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and user training materials. * Support platform health, performance, availability, and operational stability. * Develop and maintain automation solutions using native Atlassian capabilities and approved third-party tools. * Provide guidance and support to users, project teams, and application owners on effective use of Atlassian products. **DevSecOps Delivery Coordination (25%)** * Coordinate delivery activities across DevSecOps programs and initiatives. * Assist with project planning, intake management, prioritization, and execution tracking. * Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and action items across multiple workstreams. * Prepare status reporting, metrics, executive summaries, and stakeholder communications. * Facilitate collaboration between technical teams, business partners, vendors, and leadership. * Support large-scale initiatives including platform migrations, tooling modernization efforts, and process improvement programs. * Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, operational efficiency, and stakeholder engagement. **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * 3+ years of hands-on administration experience supporting Atlassian products in an enterprise environment. * Demonstrated experience administering both Atlassian Cloud and Atlassian Data Center environments, including Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence. * Strong understanding of Jira configuration, workflows, schemes, permissions, automation, reporting, and governance. * Experience supporting enterprise-scale platforms serving large user communities. * Experience working within regulated environments such as financial services, healthcare, government, or similar industries. * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience supporting or participating in migrations from Atlassian Data Center to Atlassian Cloud. * Strong preference for candidates with recent Atlassian Cloud administration experience. * Experience administering Atlassian Cloud Enterprise, including Atlassian Administration, Atlassian Organizations, Atlassian Analytics, Atlassian Data Lake, Atlassian Guard, and Marketplace applications. * Atlassian Certified Professional certifications, including: * Jira Administration for Cloud * Atlassian Cloud Organization Administration * Atlassian Cloud Foundations * Experience with Atlassian Marketplace applications, including ScriptRunner and related administration tools. * Experience integrating Atlassian products with enterprise systems using REST APIs and other integration technologies. * Experience building dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Atlassian Analytics. * Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and SDLC practices. * Familiarity with cloud-based technology platforms and SaaS operating models. **Success Profile** The successful candidate will: * Serve as a trusted administrator and subject matter expert for Atlassian platforms. * Help drive the organization's transition from Atlassian Data Center to Atlassian Cloud. * Balance technical administration responsibilities with delivery coordination activities. * Build strong partnerships across DevSecOps, Security, Architecture, Infrastructure, and business teams. * Contribute to a stable, scalable, and well-governed collaboration platform that enables teams across the organization to operate efficiently. This role is ideal for a candidate who combines hands-on Jira and Confluence administration expertise with strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills, and who is eager to support a large-scale enterprise cloud transformation. **Education:** •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience **Visa sponsorship/support is based on business needs. We do not anticipate providing visa sponsorship/support for this position.** The typical base pay range for this role is as follows: * New York / New Jersey: $91k-171k * Non–New York / New Jersey: $91k-154k depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
