MSS Security is looking for friendly, professional individuals to join our team as **Casual Aviation** **Protection Officers at Hobart Airport**. _No prior experience is required. We will provide the training you need to succeed._ **Duties include, but are not limited to:** * Conduct security screening for passengers, staff, and visitors. * Operate security screening equipment, including metal detectors, X-ray machines, and explosive trace detection systems. * Perform passenger screening and bag searches where required to ensure compliance with aviation security regulations. * Monitor and patrol airport premises. * Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a safe and welcoming environment for all airport users. **We're looking for people who have:** * Outstanding customer service skills and a positive attitude. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * The ability to remain professional and attentive in a fast-paced environment. * The ability to stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours). **Requirements:** * Full Australian working rights. * Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC). * Ability to undergo a medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing.​ **Master Licence Number: 5784** **How to apply** ---------------- MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person We encourage and celebrate diversity.
