Join our team as a **Part-Time Aviation Protection Officer** at **Port Hedland Airport** and play an important role in maintaining the safety and security of airport operations. **What We Offer** * **Level 2 Pay Grade:** **$29.24 per hour** * Superannuation * Shift loading penalties where applicable * Flexible part-time hours * Full training provided, including: * Certificate II in Transport Security Protection * On-the-Job Training (OJT) * **ASIC card costs covered by us** **Key Responsibilities** * Conduct aviation security screening in accordance with regulatory requirements * Monitor access control points and restricted areas * Perform passenger, baggage, and vehicle screening * Respond professionally to security incidents and emergencies * Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining security standards * Follow all workplace health, safety, and security procedures **Essential Requirements** To be considered for this role, you must: * Have valid Australian work rights * Be able to successfully pass a Drug and Alcohol test * Be eligible to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) (company-funded) * Be reliable, professional, and able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays * Have strong communication and customer service skills * Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team **Desirable** * Previous experience in security, aviation, customer service, or a similar role (not essential) **Master Licence** 41299 **How to apply** ---------------- MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person We encourage and celebrate diversity.
