AWS DevOps Engineer

### Job Description **Job Title: 2x AWS DevOps Engineers** **Location:** Leeds 1x/week **Day Rate:** £500/day Inside IR35 **Start Date:** ASAP **Duration**: 7 Months **Overview:** We’re looking for a couple skilled **AWS DevOps Engineers** with a strong background in cloud-native infrastructure and a proven track record delivering within NHS or wider public sector environments. This role will play a critical part in managing scalable, secure platforms with a focus on automation, observability, and reliability. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters, including Helm chart configuration and management. * Build, automate, and maintain infrastructure on **AWS** using **Terraform**. * Set up and manage observability and monitoring tools, particularly **Grafana** and **Prometheus**. * Administer and support Linux-based systems, writing automation and scripting tools (e.g., Bash, Python) as needed. * Drive DevOps culture and best practices across development and operations teams. * Work closely with NHS stakeholders and technical teams to ensure secure and compliant infrastructure delivery. **Essential Skills & Experience:** * **Previous experience working within the NHS or a healthcare-focused public sector organisation.** * Strong hands-on experience with **Kubernetes** and **Helm**. * Advanced knowledge of **AWS** services and **Terraform** for IaC. * Proven experience with observability tools such as **Grafana** and **Prometheus**. * Solid **Linux administration** and **DevOps scripting** skills. * Enthusiasm for operations, automation, and infrastructure management. **Nice to Have:** * Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI). * Exposure to cloud security and compliance best practices. * Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP).
