Banking Services Operations Associate 3 - Lockbox Support

**Overview:** ============= Processes and researches payments according to account specifications for Lockbox customers. **Primary Responsibilities:** ----------------------------- * Research and resolve customer inquiries received from internal business partners. * Complete entry-level reconciliation of internal department general ledger accounts as required by assigned area. * Prepare daily reports utilizing standard worksheet templates. * Open and prepare bank-by-mail deposits for processing. * Complete customer lockbox set-ups utilizing internal department applications to allow for accurate processing of transactions according to customer specifications.  * Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite.  Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management. * Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand. * Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable. * Complete other related duties as assigned. **Education and Experience Required:** -------------------------------------- Associates’ degree, OR in lieu of a degree, A combined minimum of 2 years’ higher education and/or work experience **Education and Experience Preferred:** --------------------------------------- Minimum of 2 years customer service experience in the financial service industry Strong customer service skills Strong organizational skills Strong analytical skills Strong problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to interact with different levels of the organization M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees.
