**Key Responsibilities:** * **Drink Preparation:** Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. * **Customer Service:** Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take drink orders and engage with customers to ensure their satisfaction. * **Stock Management:** Ensure the bar is well-stocked with supplies. Monitor inventory levels and inform barbacks when supplies need to be replenished. * **Cleanliness:** Maintain a clean and organized bar area. * **Safety and Compliance:** Check identification to verify legal drinking age. Adhere to all local and state regulations regarding alcohol service and ensure responsible alcohol consumption. * **Customer Interaction:** Provide recommendations on drink choices, engage in light conversation, and handle any customer complaints or concerns politely and professionally. * **Bar Setup & Breakdown:** Set up bar before opening hours, ensuring all supplies and equipment are ready for service. Clean and organize the bar after closing. **Qualifications:** * Prior bartending experience is ideal but not required * Must be at least 21 years of age. * Must have ability to take directions and effectively perform the work. * Must have basic working knowledge of cash register * Must speak and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors, and employees. * Must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance. * Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of shift. * Must be able to carry and lift at least 40 lbs., according to industry standards.
