Bear River Valley Hospital Information Desk Volunteer

**Volunteer Description:** Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare. The Information Desk Volunteer serves as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff. Volunteers provide a warm welcome, accurate directions, and helpful information to ensure a positive experience at the hospital. Our current openings are Wednesday's 12pm-3pm, Thursday's 12pm-3pm, and Friday's 9am-12pm. **Key Responsibilities:** * Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner * Provide directions and escort guests to destinations as needed * Answer general questions about hospital services, locations, and procedures * Offer wheelchair assistance when needed * Collaborate with hospital staff to meet visitor and patient needs * Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming desk area **Qualifications:** * Friendly, approachable, and patient-focused * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Comfortable working in a busy environment * Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times * Dependable and punctual * Able to walk or stand for periods of time and push a wheelchair if needed **Commitment:** * Minimum of one 3 hour shift per week * Minimum 6-month commitment preferred No Additional Description Available **Location:** Intermountain Health Bear River Valley Hospital **City:** Tremonton **State:** Utah Intermountain Health is an equal opportunity employer.
