**Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.** **Job Summary** Responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs. Provides excellent customer service and designs quality benefits plans. Investigates new benefits programs, improves existing programs, and supervises and monitors benefits administration. **Essential Functions** * All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose:  Inspire health.  Serve with compassion.  Be the difference * Serves as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators. * Evaluates and revises internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency * Documents and maintains administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes. * Ensures compliance with applicable government regulations. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees. * Maintains group benefit database and update payroll as necessary. * Audits the accuracy and performance of functions performed by Total Rewards team, reporting any deficiencies or opportunities for improvement to the Manager, Benefits. * Performs plan audits. Prepare, collect and organize data for actuarial assessments * Submits annual filings, on time, to ensure regulatory compliance. * Provides customer service support to internal and external customers. * Develops communication tools to enhance understanding of the company’s benefit package. * Develops knowledge articles to assist the Shared Services center operate efficiently. * Provides ongoing training to Workforce Advisors and Consultants. * Distributes legally required documents to team members * Performs other duties as assigned. **Supervisory/Management Responsibilities** * This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive. **Minimum Requirements** * Education - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field of study.  Master's degree preferred. * Experience - Four (4) years of experience in administering employee benefit programs. Experience in large organizations preferred. **In Lieu Of** * In lieu of education, individuals with prior benefits experience and benefits leadership experience may be considered, but obtainment of a bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. **Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses** * SPHR, CEBS, GBA preferred **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** * Advanced knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite * Effective at data conversion * Workday knowledge preferred * Benefit Administration System experience preferred **Work Shift** Day (United States of America) **Location** Prisma Health Corporate Office **Facility** Corporate **Department** Benefits Share your talent with us!
