We're looking for a permanent full-time **Grants, Tenders & Policy Advisor** **(or as we call the role here at Employment Plus: Bid & Policy Analyst**).
**This is a hybrid role with 2 office days per week, which can be based from any Employment Plus location nationally.**
**About the Role**
Working closely with the General Manager, Strategy & Partnerships, you'll lead grant and tender submissions that support Employment Plus' growth and community impact, while contributing research and policy insights that inform strategic decision-making.
One week you might be researching emerging policy reforms, collaborating with operational leaders, developing a funding submission, or providing insights that help shape Employment Plus' future growth.
**You'll spend your time:**
* Identifying new funding opportunities and leading grant and tender submissions.
* Supporting larger national funding submissions through research, analysis and content development.
* Partnering with operational leaders across Australia to gather evidence, insights and success stories.
* Monitoring policy and funding developments and providing research-based advice to support strategic decision-making.
* Preparing briefing papers, reports and submissions that contribute to organisational growth and community impact.
**About You:**
This role is ideal for a grants, funding or submissions professional with a track record of securing funding outcomes who is looking to broaden their experience across policy, research and organisational strategy within a national organisation.
**Education and Qualifications Required**
* Relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline
**Experience and Skills Required**
* At least 2 years' experience preparing successful grant applications, tenders or funding submissions within employment services, community services or a related social impact sector.
* Demonstrated ability to research, analyse and synthesise information to support funding submissions, reports and strategic recommendations.
* Exceptional written communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality submissions, reports, briefing papers and policy documents.
* Proven ability to gather information and insights from a range of stakeholders to support proposals, research and strategic initiatives.
* Strong project coordination and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* Ability to translate research and funding insights into practical recommendations for operational and executive stakeholders.
