### **Job Description – BIM Engineer (Structure)** **Location:** Chennai **Experience:** 5–10 Years **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and coordinate structural BIM models using industry-standard software. * Prepare and manage BIM deliverables, including 3D models, drawings, schedules, and documentation. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Architecture, MEP, Civil) to ensure effective model coordination and clash resolution. * Ensure compliance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), client standards, and company BIM protocols. * Perform model quality checks, data validation, and ensure adherence to LOD requirements. * Support design development, construction documentation, and project delivery using BIM workflows. * Participate in coordination meetings and resolve model-related issues with internal and external stakeholders. * Assist in implementing BIM best practices and continuous process improvements. **Required Skills & Experience** * 5–10 years of experience in Structural BIM modelling and coordination. * Proficiency in **Autodesk Revit Structure**, **Navisworks**, and **AutoCAD**. * Experience working on **building and infrastructure projects** for domestic and/or international clients. * Strong understanding of structural engineering drawings, detailing, and BIM standards. * Experience in clash detection, model coordination, and multidisciplinary collaboration. * Familiarity with BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud is an added advantage. * Good communication and coordination skills with project teams. **Educational Qualification** * **B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering** or **Diploma in Civil Engineering**. * BIM/Revit certification will be an added advantage. **Preferred Candidate Profile** * Hands-on experience in delivering BIM projects from concept through construction documentation. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with minimal supervision. * Experience working on Global Design Centre (GDC) or international projects will be preferred.
