We're looking for an experienced **BMS Service Engineer** to join our growing team. This field-based role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse customer portfolio while supporting critical building control systems and developing your career with a global leader in smart building technology. The Role -------- As a BMS Service Engineer, you'll be the trusted technical expert for our customers, delivering service excellence and ensuring systems operate at peak performance. Working independently and as part of a wider team, you'll support service delivery, system optimisation and future upgrade opportunities. This is a mobile role, predominantly around Glasgow. What You'll Be Doing -------------------- * Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on BMS and control systems * Diagnosing faults and resolving technical issues efficiently * Configuring and commissioning controllers and network-level devices * Modifying software and maintaining accurate system documentation * Producing service reports and recommendations * Building strong customer relationships and acting as a trusted advisor * Supporting upgrade and lifecycle projects * Promoting OpenBlue and cloud-connected building technologies * Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and compliance What We're Looking For ---------------------- * min 3 years' experience within BMS, Building Controls or Automation * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Experience in a customer-facing service environment * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office * Full UK Driving Licence * Ability to work independently and participate in an out-of-hours callout rota * HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (desirable) * Experience with Johnson Controls Metasys systems (advantageous) What We Offer ------------- * Competitive salary * Company service vehicle * Overtime opportunities and standby allowance paid on top of base salary * 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays * Holiday Purchase Scheme * Pension scheme (up to 7% employer contribution) * Life assurance (3x salary), EAP and referral programme * Discount on Johnson Controls security products * Extensive training and development opportunities * Structured career progression pathways * Commitment to employee wellbeing through our Zero Harm philosophy **Ready to take the next step in your BMS career?
