We match local expertise with strict global standards, making sure we consistently make our customers’ port calls as efficient and safe as possible. **Who we are looking for:** We are looking for a **Boarding Officer** to provide Port Services attendance to vessels and act as WPS representative towards vessel crew and officers. **What you will work on:** * Attend and board vessels in accordance to customer requirements. * Arrange all inward and outward formalities including quarantine/immigration/customs clearance. * Collect and process ships documents, as required throughout the port call. * As applicable, ensure all requirements relating to cargo matters are well understood and relayed to Manager and other relevant parties. * Arrange sign on/off, shore passes or gate passes for crew/guests. * Assist with transportation of VIP, Master and crew. * Ensure accurate, timely and professional communication to all external and internal parties. **What you bring:** * Shipping/Maritime Studies * Fluent English * Good communication skills * Ability to work under strict deadlines. * Pro-active and well organized. * Computer literate. * Versatile and adaptable to varied working conditions. * Valid Driving License. * Experience in Port operations, Port logistics or ships supplies will be considered a supplement asset. **What we can offer you:** * A culture and work environment of strong leadership, career development and a job that is both challenging and stimulating. * Our ideal candidates are looking for new challenges and would like to join a team of experienced professionals who are passionate to grow in one of the world’s largest maritime organizations.
