Business Analyst - 2 Isfx

They will have excellent oral and written communication skills, a focus to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize work. Business Analyst will own the production and delivery of a suite of reports, dashboards and tools used by leaders to take decisions that impact customer of selling partner experience.Key job responsibilities● Create, support and continuously improve reports and metrics that support the business operations● Convert data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information using tools like QuickSight/Tableau● Shape and deliver key metrics, reports, and indicators by which our business will assess its performance● Dive deep into large data sets to answer specific business questions using Excel, SQL and other data manipulation languages● Work directly with business teams to utilize metrics and analysis to determine improvement opportunities● Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation to scale reporting solutions● Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on best practices for data analysis and reporting● Independently manage end-to-end project delivery with minimal supervision Basic Qualifications: - Experience in writing complex, highly-optimized SQL queries across large datasets- Knowledge of SQL/Python/R, scripting, MS Excel, table joins, and aggregate analytical functions- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages- Experience working independently with minimal supervision, or 4+ years of Amazon experience- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics or a related field- 4+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience- Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them to stakeholders and senior management Preferred Qualifications: - Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or experience with AWS services including S3, Redshift, Sagemaker, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda, and EC2- Experience using very large datasets- Experience working as a BIE in a technology company- Experience researching about machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, data science- Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software- Experience in designing and implementing custom reporting systems using automation tools- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team membersOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
