**Business Analyst for Regulatory** **Reporting**
**The Team**
The **Tribe Finance & Reporting** supports Finance and Reporting teams by delivering robust data, systems, and reporting solutions within a complex and evolving regulatory environment. The Tribe plays a key role in enabling accurate and compliant reporting across domains such as Financial Reporting, Liquidity Reporting, Analytical Reporting, Deposit Guarantee Scheme (DGS), AnaCredit, and CICR.
**About the role**
As a **Business Analyst Regulatory Reporting**, you act as the bridge between business and technology. While the role has a **strong technical and data-oriented focus**, success in this position requires a **solid understanding of the regulatory reporting processes** and regulatory context, enabling you to effectively translate business needs into data and system solutions.
A key focus area of the role is supporting the **transformation of the reporting landscape**, including the migration from an existing data warehouse to a modern public cloud-based data platform. In this context, you ensure continuity, consistency, and quality of data while aligning local Belgian reporting requirements with group-wide standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
* **Translate business needs** and regulatory requirements into detailed data definitions, mappings, and functional specifications
* **Analyse and document** required data elements, data lineage, and business rules
* **Ensure alignment** between local Belgian reporting requirements and group data models
* Contribute to the **design and implementation of data solutions** within the reporting platform
* **Collaborate** closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and IT teams to ensure accurate and consistent data delivery
* Support **testing activities** by defining test cases, reviewing data outputs, and ensuring quality standards are met
* Maintain **documentation** of data mappings, definitions, and reporting processes
**How to succeed**
* Holding a **master’s degree** in (business) economics or a comparable field ;
* **Minimum 3 years working experience** in a change delivery role ;
* **Working knowledge on any data driven reporting** and/or hands-on experience in data granular reporting is a plus ;
* **Ability to read & interpret** regulatory documentation, reporting policies & IT-instructions ;
* Having hands on proficient level of experience on **SQL, Cognos, and Power** BI ;
* Fluent in **English**. Dutch and/or French is a plus.
