Business Process Engineer

**\*\*This position is contingent upon award of contract\*\*** [SOSi](https://himalayas.app/companies/sosi) is seeking a Business Process Engineer to support mission requirements for a structured approach to further develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable, federated data ecosystem that enhances interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer. The primary objective of the program is to bridge the operational gaps between DoD, IC, interagency, and non-traditional international partners to enable real-time information sharing, dynamic data integration, and mission-tailored analytical capabilities. ### Essential Job Duties: * Develop and refine business process models, optimizing workflows for program execution and interagency coordination. * Identify areas for process automation, efficiency improvements, and performance tracking, ensuring alignment with DoD best practices. * Submit a quarterly Business Process Optimization & Automation Report, detailing process improvements, automation strategies, and workflow enhancements. * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, OR Five (5) years of equivalent experience in financial management. * Knowledge and capability to track program financials, manage budgets, and align funding streams with DoD financial planning processes. * Proficient in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, financial forecasting, and cost estimation. * Strong analytical and reporting skills are required to support funding justifications and expenditure tracking. * Demonstrated experience in DoD budget execution, cost estimation, and financial reporting. * Experience with defense financial management systems, congressional budget justifications, and funding reconciliation is required. ### Preferred Qualifications: * Certifications: Lean Six Certification, PMP Certification, KM Certification, Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), CPA, or DAWIA Level II in Financial Management. ### Working Conditions * Off-site/Remote ### Working at [SOSi](https://himalayas.app/companies/sosi) All interested individuals will receive consideration and will not be discriminated against for any reason.
