Job Summary ----------- _To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Buyer Indirect** located in **Guadalajara.**_ _Reporting to the Commodity Manager , Buyer Indirect role involves_ _being responsible for_ _coordinates activities involved with procuring direct materials, components and equipment._ **What a typical day looks like:** * _Maintaining relations with the suppliers._  * _Placing orders for necessary raw materials and purchased parts according to the requirements of the production._  * _Receiving and handling the confirmations._  * _Checking the purchase orders and modifying them according to the changes in the production plan with the help of the Shortage List and the Open Purchase Order List._  * _Tracking shipments, urging them if needed._  * _Regular, weekly check of the stocks, avoiding overstock._  * _Minimizing the risk of obsolescence with the help of the weekly check of the obsolete report._  * _Correspondence with the freight forwarders, warehouses, and in case organizing the transportation._  * _Dealing with claims, settling debit and credit issues._  * _Assuring all active components according to production needs, in time, for the accord price in the request._  * _Reviews requisitions and MRP output._  * _Confers with vendors to obtain product information such as price, availability and delivery schedule._  * _Orders, reschedules and cancels material based on requisitions and MRP output._  * _Maintains procurement records such as items purchased, costs, delivery and inventories._  **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** * _BA/BS or equivalent work experience._ * _Intermediated English level._ * _Experience Facilities or Engineering Background_ * _Proven track record managing material availability to support production schedules (clear-to-build)._ * Experience using Baan or SAP. * _Ability to manage demand changes through push in / push out execution_ * _Strong track record in shortage mitigation and expedite management in fast-paced environments_ * Experience with end-to-end purchase order management. * _Demonstrated experience in cost negotiation and cost reduction initiatives_ * Experience working with suppliers. **What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:** * Competitive Salary. * Life & Medical insurance. * Christmas Bonus. * Food Coupons. * Saving Fund.
