Cardiology Device Clinic - Rn or Lpn

**Find your calling at Mercy!** =============================== Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. **Position Details:** ===================== **Minimum Qualifications:** **Licensed Practical Nurse** * **Education**: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. * **Licensure**: Licensed as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in the state of practice. * **Preferred Experience:** 6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office. **Registered Nurse Qualifications:** * **Education**: Associate of Applied Science or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing * **Licensure**: Active RN licensure * **Preferred Experience**: 6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office **Certifications**: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire NOTE: one or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe: •    ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) •    PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) •    PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization) •    S.T.A.B.L.E.
