**SALARY** $17.09 - $21.36 **JOB SUMMARY** **JOB SUMMARY:** Under immediate supervision performs preventative maintenance on carts and ensures carts are available for rental. Performs janitorial duties in clubhouse as directed. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:** * Perform preventative maintenance on carts such as changing flats, checking batteries for water and cleaning carts * Maintain necessary records on maintenance performed. * Clean carts following each use and make daily inspections of carts for damage. * Drive carts to clubhouse for rental and return to cart garage for night storage. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: * Knowledge of basic electricity * Knowledge of small engines * Skill in communicating with other city employees and the public * Skill in performing routine custodial duties * Ability to follow specific oral instructions * Ability to perform a variety of physical skills including, but not limited to, carrying, cleaning, kneeling, lifting, seeing and walking * Ability to operate a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, golf cart, air compressor, hand tools, power tools and vacuum cleaner * Ability to lift or exert forces equivalent to lifting up to 20 pounds; and to push/pull 25 pounds for 5 feet * Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environment * Ability to operate a motorized vehicle Incumbent is exposed to mechanical, electrical, explosive, fume/odor, dust/mites, and chemical hazards.
